2011-09-26 Geo-Engineering Debate: Transport Fuel, then ‘Roll-back’

For a 'Geo-Engineering Debate' held at the Royal Society, I prepared - but did not give - a presentation.

Of the measures discussed in the Tyndall Centre study, only Air Capture of CO2 is quick-acting, incremental and land-based (so reversible if needed), and sufficient in magnitude.

Moreover, it can be used to synthesise transport fuels, replacing fast-depleting fossil oil and gas, and then to 'roll-back' the concentration of atmospheric CO2.
